Youngsville Library ‘Library-Angel’

program ends Wednesday

Through Wednesday, the Youngsville Public Library’s 13th annual “Library-Angel” fundraiser is occurring.

A corresponding “Library-Angel” is placed on the Library-Angel tree for each donation made and specifies if the donation was in honor of or in memory of an individual. Library Angels are also mentioned on the library’s website and listed in the Times Observer. To become a Library Angel: stop by the Youngsville Library during business hours, visit the library’s homepage at YoungsvilleLibrary.org for a downloadable Angel Tree donation form, or mail a Library Angel donation (without a form) to: Youngsville Public Library c/o Library Angel Program, 100 Broad St., Youngsville, PA 16371. Be sure to include the name to be placed on the angel (and if the donation is in memoriam or in honor of someone). Holiday hours will be extended Monday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

LIBRARY NEWS

The Youngsville Library will be opened extended hours Monday through Wednesday, but closed on Friday so that staff can enjoy the holiday with family. The library will be open Monday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

YOUNGSVILLE FREE METHODIST EVENTS

The Youngsville Free Methodist Church, 179 Davis St., will have Christmas Eve candlelight services on Fridady at 6 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. The church will not have church services on Christmas Day. Regular worship services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 26, at 9 a.m. and again at 11 a.m.
