Youngsville Borough On-Line Survey Strategic Planning continues:

Based upon the public feedback from the Youngsville Borough on-line survey, the Borough Strategic Planning Committee will be focusing on these seven areas: (1) Economic Prosperity, (2) Aesthetically Inviting neighborhoods and downtown area, (3) Safety, (4) Affordability, (5) Community Pride, (6) Infrastructure concerns, and (7) Recreational Opportunities. Within each of the seven focus areas are several ideas and items that can have a positive impact on the community but it is impossible to accomplish them all especially within a 3-5 year time span. This is why you need to continue to voice your opinion.

If you haven’t already done so, please remember that there are only two more days (today & tomorrow from 8am-4pm) to go to the Borough office and vote on what you believe to be the top three critical items in each category. The more feedback received from community members at large, the most accurate the prioritization process will be. The items and ideas that are listed beneath each of the seven focus areas will help the Strategic Planning Committee and the Borough Council to capitalize on the many assets that Youngsville already has and will help them to move toward an even better community in the future.

“We’ve set this up to be a very quick and easy voting process because it is so important,” stated Borough Manager Lisa Hagberg. “Just come into the Borough and choose which three items you think the Borough should prioritize and focus on during our next planning stages.”

Hagberg continued, “The next meeting date is Thursday, May 4th from 5-7 pm. At this meeting focus groups will begin to formulate specific plans based upon the voting feedback. The focus groups will also begin to work on the steps it will take to achieve specific goals over the next 3 to 5 years and determine how those goals will be achieved with the resources that the Borough has and/or how to access additional resources as needed. These meetings are always open to the general public and light refreshments will be served.”
