Doors open at noon with games beginning at 2 p.m. Bingo is held at the TAVFD Social Hall located at 128 Main St., Tidioute. Concessions available. Bring your friends, family and luck! -- SALT SQUAD, 2026 starts on Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 6 to 7 p.m. with our Kick-Off Night – kids, get your Bibles ready!!
Children in K 4- 6th grade participate in Bible verse memorization, Bible lessons, singing, crafts related to the scripture lesson, and of course, snacks! Points are earned each week to be used as “currency” toward a prize when “Salt Squad Store Night” is held once a month, and the accumulated points are tallied at the end of the year to determine awards and trophies earned. The ministry of the Salt Squad program is to encourage the understanding and memorization of the scriptures, and especially to ensure the children’s understanding of Jesus Christ’s salvation message of the Gospel and how the Bible, from Old to New Testament, proclaims it. The program was developed by Pastor Dale Timco during his years in youth ministry in the Pittsburgh area. All community children in Grades K4-6 are invited to attend.
