Borough meetings

Tidioute Borough Council meeting will be held at 7 p.m. May 14 in Tidioute Borough Office located at 129 Main St. All are welcome; all meetings are public.

The Southwest Warren County Municipal Authority or SWCMA will meet at 7 p.m.5 May 10 in the Borough Office All are welcome; open to the public.

Tidioute baseball

Baseball is in full swing in Tidioute with four teams holding games on both Limestone and the Main Street ballfields. Games begin at 6 p.m. and concession stands will be open.

Team schedules can be obtained from any coach or are available at the Tidioute Borough Office.

Baseball fundraiser

The Tidioute Little League is currently selling snack beef sticks for $1 each,; they come in a variety of flavors and are available at the Tidioute Borough Office and several local businesses.

WWII reenactment

Planning continues for this year’s WWII Reenactment with this being the 10th anniversary of the event.

A meeting will be held at 6 p.m. May 23 in the Tidioute Borough Office with everyone welcome.

Conservation Day

Tidioute Borough and the faculty and students of the Tidioute Community Charter School have once again joined forces to plan this year’s Conservation Day, which will be held May 18 with a rain date of May 25.

Each year, TCCS students work with employees of the Tidioute Borough Maintenance Department on several community beautification projects throughout town with a focus on the business district — just in time for the summer season.

Projects slated for this year include staining the dock at the boat launch, several painting projects and planting the flowers within the business district.

Anyone interested in joining in is welcome.

Clean-up day

Clean-up day is scheduled for May 19 for Tidioute Borough residents. The Borough Garage will serve as the site of collection from 8 a.m. to noon.

Wheels and Deals

Weekend

“Wheels and Deals Weekend” will be held Saturday, May 26, with town-wide yard sales and the annual car show on the Pennsylvania State Championship Fishing Tournament grounds.
