Once again, Tidioute Borough will join forces with students and teachers of the Tidioute Community Charter School to hold the annual Conservation Day!
Conservation Day is a day set aside where many the students in grades 7-12 volunteer their time under the guidance of their teachers and the Tidioute Borough Maintenance Department employees to spruce up the downtown business district before the summer season.
Each year, several seasonal tasks are completed in preparation of nicer weather such as the planting flowers, painting parking lines and cross walks, picnic tables, and benches at the boat launch, and the orange steps at the Main Street baseball field. This year’s event is slated for May 18 with a rain date of May 25.
Reminder that Tidioute Borough Clean-up Day is scheduled for May 19 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Tidioute Borough Garage. Please see the Tidioute Borough Facebook page for all the information and restrictions.
Reminder that the Town-wide Tidioute Yard Sales will be held in conjunction with the Car Show this year on May 26 to bring back the “Wheels and Deals” weekend. If you are going to have a sale, call the Borough Office to be added to the list.
This final list of area sales will be published on social media and the Tidioute Borough website as well as given out at several local businesses to hand out.
