Not Collecting

Newsprint

Tidioute Lions Club expresses with regret that it will no longer be collecting newspapers and magazines at the recycling center.

They do not get paid for the papers they have been collecting and Advance Disposal where they were delivering them doesn’t pay anything for them and they only throw them in the landfills anyway. Do not leave them at the recycling any longer.

However, the Tidioute Lions Club will still be collecting number 1 and number 2 plastic, aluminum, steel,  glass and cardboard.

They can always use some volunteers to help sort the products and help  band  and  crush them.

The Lions Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month and new members are always welcome.
