The team served ice cream to all those in attendance after a great soup luncheon. The Dairy Princess team is reminding everyone to make sure you are having your three servings every day of your all-important dairy.

Book Club

The Sugar Grove Free Library Book Club will be meeting on April 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Library. It was suggested that for the April Meeting each person bring one or more of our favorite books from our childhood or young adulthood along with a favorite snack from childhood. Join us and feel young again with our favorites from childhood.

Pancake Breakfast

There will be a Pancake Breakfast on April 22 from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Lottsville United Methodist Church. There will be delicious sausage, fresh maple syrup, pancakes and fruit pies.

Story Hour Returns and Block Parties Continue

The Sugar Grove Free Library will be having their story hour program every Tuesday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The program is open to all ages. Anyone who would like to come and explore the joy of reading is welcome. Also the popular Block Party will be happening again this month for all those Pre-K age kids who love exploring the fun of blocks. Thanks to all those who came out for the special Moana Movie night last Wednesday. Contact the Sugar Grove Library at 489-7872 for more information on this and all the exciting happenings at the Library.

Second Harvest Mobile Food Pantry

The Sugar Grove Second Harvest Mobile Food Pantry Distribution will be happening on Saturday, April 22nd at the Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church on Jamestown Street. The doors open at 8:00 a.m. For more information, please contact the church office at 489-3105.

Bear Lake Borough Clean Up Day

Bear Lake Borough residents will have an opportunity to get rid of all the collection of trash and those things you no longer want at the Spring Clean Up on Saturday, May 6 at the Bear Lake Fire Station from 8 a.m. to noon. We can not accept electronics, hazardous materials, tires and regular household trash. Cost is $5 per card load, $10 per pickup load.
