Outdoor Club To Hike Sunday In Marienville

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike Sunday, Jan. 11, on the North Country Trail in Marienville. This will be an in and out hike of about 4 miles with a mild grade. Those attending should meet at Musante Street at 1:30 p.m. Jim and Kim Berkey will be the leaders.

Caregivers Support Group to meet Jan. 19

The first meeting of the new year of the Caregivers Support Group-Warren will be held Monday, Jan. 19, at noon at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania. Ave. E., Warren. Those attending should enter the building using the elevator entrance and proceed to the Wesley Parlor. This will be a regular meeting with ideas and planning for future meetings. Caregivers and anyone interested in learning more about this group are invited to attend. Meetings are a time to share concerns and ideas with other caregivers in a confidential setting. A time for questions and discussion will be included. Educational materials from the Alzheimer’s Association, the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, and the local group’s lending library are available. Russell UMC to host free breakfast Jan. 18

RUSSELL – A free community breakfast will be held at the Russell United Methodist Church, 17 N. Main St., Russell, from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18. Breakfast will include pancakes, sausages, eggs, coffee and juice. The public is welcome to attend.
