Military Share food distribution is June 27
The next Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania’s Warren County Military Share food distribution will take place on Friday, June 27, at 2 p.m. The program supports income-qualifying active or retired military members and their immediate families in need of food. The distribution will be held across from the Ed Shults Dealership at 4060 Market St. The distribution takes place on the fourth Friday of even-numbered months.
Bridge league winners announced
Monday evening at the YMCA, Pat Fincher and Bill Kuppinger came in first with Sherra Babcock and Mary Conarro in second. Connie Michell placed first on Tuesday at the library and Marge Polito was second. On Thursday at the Woman’s Club, Russ Kelley rose to the top and Nan Cashman was second.
Community breakfast is Saturday
RUSSELL – A free community breakfast will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at Russell United Methodist Church, 17 N. Main St. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausages, juice and coffee. All are welcome.
Warren High School Class of 1956 to meet today
The Warren High School Class of 1956 will hold its monthly luncheon on Tuesday, June 17, at 1 p.m. at Timberstone Restaurant (Cable Hollow Golf Course). All classmates, spouses and friends are invited. Reservations are not necessary.
