Garden club meets

The Hill and Dale Garden Club met for the first time this year on April 24 at Mission Covenant Church outside Sugar Grove. Garden Therapy at the Rouse will be held on June 17 with a work bee for this event set for June 10 at 1 p.m. The group agreed to sponsor a student from Eisenhower to go to summer camp at the the Audubon Community Nature Center as well as to purchase a brick at the Warren County Fairgrounds in the name of the club. A feasibility study of the Grove Garden was completed and the club will be discontinuing its maintenance of that garden. A history of the club, currently in its 86th year, as also presented.

Cemetery meeting

is Sunday

The spring meeting of the Swedish Union Church and Cemetery Association will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. The meeting is open to anyone interested in attending and will be held in the Swedish Church on Swede Road, Tidioute.
