Town picnic scheduled
The annual Barnes Picnic will be at the Sheffield Lions Den on Sunday at noon. Current and former Barnes residents and families and friends are welcome. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share. Lunch will be at 12:30 p.m. The picnic has been an annual tradition since 1978 when it was started as part of a sesquicentennial celebration.
Bridge results
Rita Mancuso and Connie Michell came in first Monday evening at the YMCA, followed by Lana Creal and Chick Bello. At the Allegheny Community Center on Tuesday, Phyllis Broadbent and Bill Massa were first and second. Nan Cashman placed first on Thursday at the Woman’s Club and Rita Mancuso was second.
