Garden Club meeting

The Warren Garden Club will meet on Thursday, July 20, at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The program will focus on native plants and their healing properties.

Outdoor Club to ride

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes on the McClintock bike trail on Sunday, July 9. The group will meet at Musante Street in Warren or at the trailhead, Waitz Road, Rouseville, McClintock Well No. 1 at 2 p.m.

Retired ladies meeting moved

The Osram Sylvania retired ladies will not meet on Friday, July 7. The lunch has been rescheduled for Friday, July 14.

Task Force to conduct sobriety checkpoints

The Warren County DUI Task Force will conduct sobriety checkpoints this weekend. “We urge all motorists to call a cab, friend, family member, or Uber if they plan on driving after using any substance that could impair their ability to drive,” DUI Task Force Coordinator Todd Mineweaser said. “Be safe and buckle up.”
