Holiday camping at fairgrounds

The Warren County Fairgrounds in Pittsfield will be offering holiday camping over the Fourth of July. Check in will start at 2 p.m. Friday, June 30, with check out on Sunday July 9. There are several campsites to choose from with water and electric hookups, restrooms with showers and a dumping station. For reservations or information call Sue at (814) 730-2890. All proceeds benefit the improvement fund for the fair.

WSH retiree picnic

Warren State Hospital retirees will be gathering for a picnic on Thursday, June 22 at Wildcat Park in Ludlow starting at noon. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to pass, something to drink and table service. Anyone with questions is asked to call (814) 945-6883.

Bridge results

Lana Creal and Chick Bello placed first on Monday at the YMCA followed by Lynn Way and Richard Woodruff. Bill Massa rose to the top on Tuesday at the Allegheny Community Center and Connie Michell was second. At the Woman’s Club on Thursday, Marilyn Long and Connie Michell were first and second.
