Dinner Club gathers

Thursday

The Newton Dinner Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at the American Legion in Corry.

Arts Jubilee, open house set for this week

The Warren County Christian School Spring Arts Jubilee and open house will be held Thursday, May 18, at 165 Mead Run Road, Youngsville. All families interested in exploring Christian education are invited to visit at 6 p.m. to tour the school, visit with teachers, and see the students’ art. The concert and dramatic performance will begin at 7 p.m. An ice cream social will follow. WCCS has been offering faith-based instruction for Warren and Corry area students in grades K-12 since 1977. Camping opportunity

The Warren County Fairgrounds in Pittsfield will be offering holiday camping Memorial Day weekend. Check in will start at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 25, with check out on Monday, May 29. There are several campsites to choose from with water and electric hookups, restrooms with showers and a dumping station. For reservations or information call Sue at (814) 730-2890. All proceeds benefit the improvement fund for the fair.

Bridge results

Lana Creal and Chick Bello came in first on Monday at the YMCA with Jill Dart and Sue Swab in second. Phyllis Broadbent and Bill Massa placed first and second Tuesday at the Allegheny Community Center. At the Woman’s Club Thursday afternoon, Connie Michell was first and Bill Massa came in second.

Class breakfast

The Eisenhower High School Class of 1973 will meet for breakfast at The Bucket Cafe in Sugar Grove at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 18.
