Grief workshop set

Hospice of Warren County will be holding a four-week grief workshop at the Schorman Center. The sessions will be offered on Tuesdays – May 16, 23, 30 and June 6 – with both a 10 a.m and a 5:30 p.m. session. Call (814) 723-8060 by May 10 to register.

Genealogical Society meets Monday

The Warren County Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, May 8, in the dining room at First Lutheran Church of Warren. The program will be “My Immigrant Ancestor” and members will be encouraged to tell the group their ancestor – where they came from, how and why they emigrated from their homes, where they settled, and so on. There will also be opportunity for members and guests to seek research assistance and share success stories. The society welcomes anyone interested in family history and research.
