Love Your Library

Winners: “The Friends of the Youngsville Public Library, Board, and I want to thank everyone who ‘took a chance’ on YPL’s 13th Annual Love-Your-Library Raffle Extravaganza Fundraiser this year, we really appreciate it,” stated Library Director Kristy Wallace. “There were also many individuals who utilized our downloadable ‘mail in raffle request form’ this year and that really helped make our fundraiser successful. This is the second year in a row that a mail-in person won. This year there were 11 themed options to choose each worth a minimum of $100 in gift cards, cash, and/or scratch-off tickets. Since this is a major annual fundraiser for Youngsville Public Library, we truly are appreciative of all the area businesses who donated toward the gift cards and cash prizes. We really wouldn’t have been able to offer such great prizes without local and area business support. It is our hope that the supporting businesses will also benefit by acquiring new customers.”

Businesses that donated to YPL’s 13th Annual Raffle event were: Applebee’s, Carter’s Lumber, Dairy Queen in Yngs, Genuine Jerky in Yngs, Huey’s Place in Yngs, Ida Mae’s, KAM’s in Yngs, Kwik Fill, Lonnie’s Pizza in Yngs, Mama Jane’s Eatery, Olewine Financial Group in Warren, Outlet City (Simple Dicks), Ribs-n-Bones, Sheetz, Tops’ Markets in Youngsville, Walmart, Youngsville Hardware, and Friends of the Youngsville Library. A very special thank you Station 61 Restaurant and Valley Bowling in Yngs for allowing us the opportunity to have chances available at their businesses!

Congratulations to this year’s raffle winners: (1) Amy Trask – “Fill ‘er Up,” (2) B. Fuller – “Dinner & a Movie,” (3) Connie Lucia – “Keep on Scratching,” (4) Patty Hannold – “Good Eats,” (5) Mary Kushner – “Got Ya Covered.” (6) Rick Kelsey – “KAM’s logging supplies and outdoor wear,” (7) Pat Watrous – “Let’s go shopping,” (8) Deb Brewster – “You Name it, We Got it,” (9) Earl Russ – “Cold Cash,” (10) Diane Shannon – “Yngs Food & Bev,” and (11) Wanda Dillon – “Yngs Food & More.”
