Christian women meet

Warren-Jamestown Christian Women held its Valentine luncheon on Tuesday, Feb. 14. at Praise Fellowship Church, Russell. Speaker was Janeen Beard of Lander Hope Clinic. The Tuesday, March 14, program will feature Gwenn Scutella of Warren speaking on “My Journey.” Lunch is provided by the committee for $6. Cemetery update

The Barnes Cemetery Association would like to remind lot owners to please remove all fall and winter decorations by April 1.

Egg Hunt

HEROES, a support group for parents of children with disabilities, will be holding a sensory-friendly Easter Egg Hunt on April 1 at Lacy Park. There will be three egg hunts – 11:30 a.m., 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. The first two are by pre-registration only and limited to children with disabilities/delays. Blood drive planned in Sugar Grove

There will be a Community Blood Bank blood drive from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at Sugar Grove Fire Department. Appointments are recommended and may be made by calling (814) 456-4206.
