Food pantry distribution

The Sheffield Area Ecumenical Food Pantry provides assistance to residents of Sheffield, Mead and Cherry Grove townships and Clarendon. Those in need may receive food and various other products and are encouraged to visit the Food Pantry at 18 Leather St. in Sheffield. Distribution hours are from 3-5:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday, including this Wednesday, of each month.

Class breakfast

The Eisenhower Class of 1973 will be meeting for breakfast at The Bucket Cafe on Saturday, Aug.20, at 9:30 a.m.

Student Union to host bash

The Warren Area Student Union will hold an end of summer bash for all ages from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, at 330 Hickory St., Warren. Local talent Alyssa Wismar, Macy Winicki, Egypt Hollow — with Addison Gee and Kenny Anderson – and Insurgent, Sky Kirbey, Leo Kirbey, and Eden Baker, will perform. The Enchanted Fairytale Troupe will make an appearance. There will be snacks and drinks available and a basket raffle. Admission is $2. Proceeds will benefit the WASU student fund.
