A new Adult Activity Center will be open to the community every Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, beginning Jan. 14. The Adult Activity Center is located in the Education Building (Church Street entrance) of the Youngsville First United Methodist Church at 225 E. Main St., Youngsville. The church will hold a public Consecration Service to bless the new center on Jan. 16 at 1 p.m. in the sanctuary, followed by an open-house reception in the Adult Activity Center.

The purpose of this Adult Activity Center is to provide a free-of-charge, informal meeting place for adults to gather for fellowship, socializations, education, indoor recreation (e.g. board games, jigsaw puzzles, card games, crafting), entertainment, or to worship.
