Blood drive planned Dec. 21

There will be a Community Blood Bank blood drive from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Holy Redeemer Center in Warren. According to a CBB release, regional blood supply has dropped to “dangerous levels.”

“Blood and blood products are used to help treat everything from leukemia to burns. That need doesn’t stop, holiday or not,” Community Blood Bank’s Interim Executive Director Dee Rosenthal said. “All types are needed, however, there has been a near constant critical need for type O. Make time to donate blood with CBB in December and give the best gift of all — the gift of life.”

Appointments may be made by calling Shari at (814) 688-3696 and are preferred, but not required.

All donors who give in December will be entered to win a Peloton bicycle and six-month Peloton service subscription.

Starting at $3.50/week.
