AOC to hike

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike the riverwalk trail in Tidioute on Sunday, Oct. 31. This will be a a flat hike of 4 miles. The group will meet at Musante St. at 1:30 p.m. or at the sewage treatment plant in Tidioute at 2 p.m. Linda Ross will be the leader and can be reached at (814) 688-5908 for any questions.

Craft show scheduled

The Winter Wonderland Craft Show will be held at the Youngsville Fire Hall on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be 108 tables of crafts, food will be available and a silent auction will be held. Admission is free. For information, please call (814) 563-4042.

Spaghetti dinner

Irvine Presbyterian Church, 905 National Forge Road, will be holding a spaghetti “take out” meal on Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The meal will include spaghetti and meatballs with tossed salad, bread and a cookie. Price is $10. Proceeds will go to support two local families.

Boutique, Humane Society to close

Paws and Shop Thrift Boutique and Paws Along The River Humane Society will be closed on Monday to prepare the shop for the Christmas holiday. The Holiday open house is Nov. 12 at Paws and Shop Thrift Boutique.
