Trick-or-treating hours

In Pine Grove Township, treak-or-treat hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. Trick-or-treaters are asked to only visit homes with the porch lights on.

AOC to ride

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes on Thursday for about 10 miles on flat roads in the Frewsburg area. Participants are asked to meet across from the Dinner Bell at 2 p.m. The ride will be canceled if it is raining.

Bridge Results

Sharon Russell and Bill Kuppinger took first on Monday at the YMCA while Richard Woodruff and Lynn Way were second. Tuesday afternoon at the Allegheny Community Center, Marjorie Polito came in first and Sherry Griffiths was second. Connie Michell and Peggy Morgan were first and second Thursday afternoon at the Woman’s Club.

Halloween in the Park

The North Warren Presbyterian Church will be sponsoring their Halloween in the Park on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the park pavilion. Hot dogs, chips and lots of candy will be provided. If you no longer distribute candy at home then come and Trunk or Treat in the parking lot or stop by for food, fellowship, and friends.

Second Harvest Produce Express

The Second Harvest Produce Express will be at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 258 Dalrymple St, Pittsfield, Pa. on Tuesday, Nov. 2. Food pick-up will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. A total of 80 families will be served on a first come, first served basis. No pre-registration is necessary. Volunteer workers are asked to arrive by 2:00 p.m.
