Church plans Saturday Harvest Dinner

RUSSELL — The Akeley United Methodist Church will hold a drive-through Harvest Dinner on Saturday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. or until sold out. The church is located at 541 Akeley Road. Enjoy a delicious turkey dinner with scalloped potatoes, stuffing, green beans, coleslaw, a roll, and your choice of either pumpkin or apple pie by donation. Proceeds will benefit the Akeley United Methodist Church.

Hike planned Sunday

Members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike Anders Run in Irvine on Sunday. Members should meet at 1:30 p.m. at Musante Street in Warren or 1:45 p.m. at the trail head on Dunns Eddy Road. The hike is moderate. The leader is Earl Ross; he can be reached for questions at (814) 706-1198.
