Harvest Produce Express is Tuesday

PITTSFIELD — The 2nd Harvest Produce Express will be at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 258 Dalrymple St., Pittsfield, on Tuesday. Food pick-up will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. The group will serve 80 families on a first-come, first-served basis. No pre-registration is necessary. Volunteer workers are asked to arrive by 2 p.m. CDC guidelines will be followed and those attending are asked to wear a mask.

Outdoor Club to hike Sunday

On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike the Minister Creek trail. It is a 6.5-mile trail listed as moderate. The group will meet at Musante Street in Warren at 1 p.m. Greg Burkett is the leader and can be reached for questions at 814-723-4989.

Church to hold Trunk-Or-Treat

The annual trunk-or-treat event at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 200 Pleasant Drive, Warren, will be a drive-through event this year. Families are invited to drive through St John’s on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. or until the church runs out of treats. Masked/gloved volunteers will have a hug and a cookie for each child (our hugs are juice drinks) along with a bag of candy and treats. Please enter the parking lot off Calendar Street and exit onto Pleasant Drive.

Halloween party set in Youngsville

YOUNGSVILLE — A free Halloween party will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday for the Youngsville area at the Brokenstraw winery, 100 Hillside Drive, Youngsville. All current COVID-19 guidelines will be required. The family event from 6 to 8 p.m. will be followed by an adult event for those ages 21 and over. There is a $5 cover charge for the adult event.
