Memorial donations
Hospice of Warren County received contributions during the month of August in memory of Clair Benson, Louise Crozier, Jodi Page, Karol Erickson, Savino Sam Bona, James A. Support group to start
Starting Oct. 1, an incarceration support group will be meeting at First United Methodist Church, 200 Market St. on the first and third Mondays of the month from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The group is for family members of currently or recently released prisoners and the group aims to provide a supportive, safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment while utilizing a Christ-centered program. Those interested are asked to enter the church from the Watson St. entrance off of Third Ave. and the meeting will be held on the second flood in Founders Hall.
Warren County Fire Services to meet
The Warren County Fire Services will meet Thursday at the Starbrick Fire Hall. Dinner will be at 7 p.m. with meeting to follow.
‘Tribute to Pink Floyd’ set Friday
Yankee Bush Productions presents The Floyd Concept’s “Tribute to Pink Floyd” at 6 and 9 p.m. Friday at the Struthers Library Theatre. The show has reserved seating. All tickets are $25 each. Purchase tickets by calling 814-489-3110 or at yankeebushproductions.com/concerts.
HEROES support group to meet
HEROES, a support group for parents of children with disabilities, will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Jefferson DeFrees Family Center’s Jefferson Room, 207 Second Ave., Warren. The meetings are child-friendly. There will be no speaker for the Oct. 22 meeting.
Sensory friendly trick-or-treat event to be held
A sensory friendly trunk-or-treat event will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Holy Redeemer Church in Warren. Donations are appreciated and will help pay for a second phase of the Lacy Park Project, a multi-sensory, handicapped-accessible and all-inclusive playground. The sensory friendly Halloween event includes no jump scares, no strobe lights, no costumes required, alternative treats being avaialble and a calming area.
7 Bridges Tribute to The Eagles set
