ANF forces road closure

The Allegheny National Forest will be reconstructing Forest Road 504 and Forest Road 508 on the Bradford Ranger District. Forest Road 508 intersects with US Highway 219. Road reconstruction will include the removal of one existing stream crossing culvert located over the Camp Run Drainage for an upgrade for Aquatic Organism Passage. Forest Road 504 and Forest Road 508 will be closed to through traffic beginning Sept. 23 with work scheduled for tentative completion by Sept. 30. Hill and Dale

Garden Club meets this Wed.

The Hill and Dale Garden Club will meet Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at the Wiltsie Church. The program will be on rain gardens by Jean Gomry. The club will also have its fall plant sale. After the meeting, for anyone that would like to stay, the group will put together flowers and cups to be taken to the Rouse Home for the residents to make arrangements.

Seneca shows canceled

All entertainment shows have been canceled at the Seneca Resorts & Casinos through January.

This includes shows scheduled at the Seneca Niagara Event Center, Seneca Niagara Bear’s Den Showroom, and Seneca Allegany Event Center.

Original tickets for rescheduled shows will still be honored for rescheduled dates. For more information visit senecaniagaracasino.com and senecaalleganycasino.com. Refunds will be available up to 14 days prior to the rescheduled date from the original point of ticket purchase with proof of purchase.

Affected performances include The Village People at 8 p.m. Nov. 5-6 at the Seneca Niagara Casino and Aaron Lewis at 7 p.m. Jan. 30 at the Seneca Allegany Event Center in Salamanca.
