The Warren County Genealogical Society will meet on Monday, Jan. 22, at 5:15 p.m. for its annual Midwinter Tureen Dinner at the First Lutheran Church. The evening will also feature an interesting video lecture by renowned genealogist John Philip Colletta entitled “Genealogy Online–Gems and Junk.” In this lecture Mr. Colletta will discuss the premise that it is unthinkable to do genealogical research today without making extensive use of the Internet, but it is the responsibility of the family historian to judge the accuracy of the information that he finds.

He will examine various Internet sites that are used in genealogical research. The society welcomes anyone interested in family history and research. Call 723-8026 for additional information.
