Jamestown Business College, founded in 1886 and known for its “students come first” motto, said it was halting enrollment and will eventually close. The “very difficult decision” was officially announced Thursday. JAMESTOWN, NY -- A 38-year-old Jamestown man wanted on a kidnapping charge in Warren County was taken into custody early Wednesday. Jamestown police announced the arrest of Michael D. Johnson on a fugitive from justice charge. He was picked up around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday during a street check in Brooklyn Square. Police learned that Johnson was wanted on a warrant in Pennsylvania for interference with custody of children, concealment of the whereabouts of child and kidnapping of a minor.
