Warren County Sheriff Scott J. Neiswonger is warning residents about a phone scam. Neiswonger said Friday afternoon he received several calls about a subject calling residents claiming he is a Sergeant Mike Webster from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office in New York or the Warren County Sheriff’s Office in Pennsylvania. The male is claiming that residence have missed a payment on fines or on an outstanding warrant. TIDIOUTE - The remains of a body recovered from the Allegheny River last week have been identified as those of a kayaker who went missing in late January.
