State Police seek assistance after church vandalized

The Pennsylvania State Police Warren Barracks is investigating an act of institutional vandalism at the Gouldtown Community Church. On Sept. 8, Pennsylvania State Police received a report of damage after an unknown individual or individuals spray painted the phrase "Hail Satan" on the exterior of the church located at 1860 Howard Road, Pine Grove Township. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police at 814-728-3600.

Julian DeHoyos and DeAndre Daniel combined on a no-hitter and Eagle Pass, Texas used a six-run second inning to post a 10-0 victory over Stevens Point, Wisconsin in Game 2 of the Babe Ruth 13-year-old World Series on Saturday afternoon. DeHoyos and Daniel collected nine strikeouts between them in a game that ended after 4 ½ innings via the 10-run rule. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has declared a Code Orange Air Quality Action Day for particulate matter from wildfire smoke for Monday in Bradford, Cameron, Clinton, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Lycoming, McKean, Mercer, Potter, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Venango, Warren, Wayne, and Wyoming counties. City Man Charged With Corruption Of Minors

A Warren man identified by Warren police as a Boy Scout leader faces three third-degree felony counts of corruption of minors. Ryan Zavinski, 24, of Warren was charged with three-counts of third-degree felony corruption of minors - defendant age 18 or above, four counts of corruption of minors and three counts of indecent exposure after an investigation by Warren police officers.
