Police seek public’s help in kitten cruelty case

Pennsylvania State Police at Warren are seeking the public’s help in a cruelty to animals case.

At 6:45 p.m. May 4, troopers responded to 3435 Glade Township for a report of a kitten having been thrown from a moving vehicle while tied inside a black, disposable bag. The kitten, approximately 6 to 8 weeks of age, was unharmed. The person who witnessed the event said the vehicle was a white, single cab Chevrolet pickup truck with no registration plate and visible rust on the body of the truck. It was traveling north on Conewango Avenue and allegedly operated by a black, non-Hispanic male.

Police are requesting anyone with surveillance footage of Conewango Avenue, north of Third Avenue, to review the footage in an attempt to identify the vehicle between 6:30 and 7:15 p.m. Anyone with information can call 814-726-3600 and ask for Trooper Holsopple or Cpl. Koebley.

Starting at $3.50/week.
