Warren man charged with rape

A Warren man has been charged with rape in a case allegedly involving a person less than 16 years of age.

The State Police at Warren filed a criminal complaint Monday charging William H. Wilcox III, 34, of Warren with 11 felony charges related to incidents that allegedly took place Aug. 1, 2025, in Pleasant Township, according to online court docket information.

Felony charges against Wilcox include first-degree felony rape/forcible compulsion, first-degree felony statutory sexual assault – 11 years older, second-degree felony sexual assault, two counts of second-degree felony aggravated indecent assault without consent, second-degree felony aggravated indecent assault – forcible compulsion, two counts of second-degree felony aggravated indecent assault – complainant less than 16, and three counts of third-degree felony corruption of minors – defendant age 16 or above. Wilcox is also charged with misdemeanor charges of corruption of minors, two counts of indecent assault forcible compulsion, two counts of indecent assault without consent of other and three counts of indecent assault person less than 16 years of age.

Wilcox is still awaiting preliminary arraignment.
