Roughly 300 in county still without power
FirstEnergy crews supported by outside personnel continue to restore power after winds exceeding 70 mph tore through its service area on Friday, March 13.
Power remains out for more than 200 Warren County customers of Penelec as of Monday morning.
The company said it is still monitoring another storm system expected on today that may cause additional outages. Crews will remain focused on repairs from Friday’s storm first and will work around the clock until all customers affected by either event have power restored.
Those who experience an outage due to the weather can call 1-888-544-4877, text OUT to LIGHTS (544487) or go to firstenergycorp.com/outages.
Restoration times will be shared as available on the Penelec outage map. Customers can also text STAT to 544487 for an update for your home.
Another 112 customers serviced by the Warren Warren Electric Cooperative are also without power as of Monday morning.
