The Warren County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday that local law enforcement officers assisted by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, seized a substantial quantity of illegal marijuana products from multiple local smoke shops within Warren County.
As a result of this enforcement action, authorities confiscated vape products, edible items, and 5 pounds of marijuana totaling an estimated value exceeding $150,000 in retail value. The seizures were conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into the unlawful sale and distribution of controlled substances, stemming from complaints from local schools and students in possession of THC products.
“These types of operations undermine Pennsylvania law and pose a significant risk to public health and safety, particularly to minors,” said District Attorney Cody Brown. “We will continue to work closely with our law enforcement partners to ensure that businesses operating within our county are complying with the law.”
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
“I would like to thank officers from Warren City Police Department, Youngsville Borough Police Department, Conewango Township Police Department, Warren County Sheriff Department, Pennsylvania State Police and agents from the PA Attorney General’s Office for their efforts in this operation,” Brown said.
