A lake-effect snow warning has been issued for Warren County starting at 1 a.m. Thursday and continuing through 1 a.m. Saturday.

The National Weather Service at State College says heavy lake effect snow is expected with total accumulations between 6 and 12 inches with higher amounts possible. Winds will be gusting as high as 40 mph.

Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
