Cambridge Warren will close at the end of the year.

According to a post on social media from the Rouse Estate, a competing care facility, Cambridge Warren will shut its doors effective Dec. 31.

“With great sympathy, the Rouse would like to address the news of the closure of Cambridge Warren Senior Living, effective December 31,” the post reads. “As a fellow provider in the long-term care community, we recognize the challenges and emotions associated with such decisions and the impact they will have on residents, their families, and the dedicated staff.”

A representative of Cambridge Warren said the facility had no comment at this time.

A request for comment was forwarded to Carpe VITA Senior Living CEO Mary Walka. Carpe VITA took over management of the facility earlier this year.

According to the representative, “She’s the only one who can comment at this time.”
