Fire destroyed a Sugar Grove home early Monday.

The homeowner at 11190 Jackson Run Road called in the fire before 6 a.m. and all of the occupants made it safely out of the house, according to Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department Second Assistant Chief Justin Darr.

Eight departments – Sugar Grove, Lander, Wrightsville, Youngsville, Bear Lake, Starbrick volunteer fire departments in Warren County, and Busti and Lakewood fire departments from Chautauqua County, N.Y. – responded to the blaze.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 5:51 a.m., Darr said.

When they arrived, the house was fully involved.

He said the structure was a total loss and the home was uninsured.
