Dunkin Donuts proposal focus of Jan. 11 panel hearing
Times Observer photo by Josh Cotton The Warren County Zoning Hearing Board will consider a request for special exception next week on this property, 333 Jackson Run Rd., a step in the process of bringing a Dunkin Donuts to North Warren
Dunkin Donuts is quite likely coming to Warren.
The site is the former Marine Bank building at 333 Jackson Run Road, right on the corner of Route 62 and Jackson Run Road.
Warren County Deputy Planning Director Michael Lyon said that drive-in restaurants require a special exception, an additional layer of review.
“It’s an allowable use,” he said, confirming that Dunkin Donuts is the subject of the proposal.
A Zoning Hearing Board hearing is set for Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m. at the county courthouse to hear a petition for special exception.
“That’s going to be an interesting one,” he said, citing the close proximity between the access points to the lot and the light at the intersection. He said PennDOT has yet to make formal comments on the proposal.
