A Corry man was killed while walking along a western Warren County road early Sunday morning.

Curtis R. Higby, 36, was wearing dark clothing and walking along Picidilli Road in Spring Creek Township when he was struck by a pickup truck at 2:04 a.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Police said Higby walked into the path of the truck driven by Todd M. Phillips, 36, of Corry, for unknown reasons.

Police said Higby was pronounced dead at the scene by a Warren County Deputy Coroner.

Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department and EmergyCare assisted at the scene.
