Nearly One Quarter Of Warren County Homes Without Power This Morning

As many as 4,180 Warren County residents remain without power this morning in the wake of powerful storms that tore through the region Sunday afternoon.

At 8 a.m., between 200 and 1,000 people people just outside Warren still had no power with smaller scattered outages throughout the area, including in Starbrick (between 20 and 100 people), Warren South, two outages affecting as many as 3,000 people in Mead, outages on Jackson Run Road affecting between 50 and 200 homes, as many as 100 homes near Wrightsville, between 100 and 500 homes without power in Columbus and between 40 and 120 people in Spring Creek without power.

According to Penelec, the number of customers without power is about 23.8% of the total customers in Warren County.

There are also 996 homes in Bradford County without power, of 4.29% of customers; and 506 in Elk County, of 4.345 of customers.
