Thanksgiving dinner date correction
The Salvation Army annual Thanksgiving Dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, at St. Joseph’s Church, Pennsylvania Avenue, and Hazel Street, Warren. Monetary donations to help the effort, as well as donations of turkeys and pies, are welcome. Volunteers are also needed for serving and clean-up. Those interested in contributing or looking for more information may call 723-8950.

Marine The keynote speaker for Monday’s Veterans Day program in Warren is U.S. Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel Donald Smith, a graduate of Warren High School. Smith was identified as a veteran of the U.S. Army in the Saturday and Tuesday edition of the Times Observer, as well as the program that accompanied the ceremony.
