In Monday’s Times Observer, a headline stated that Jon Taylor, a defendent in an alleged weekend shooting in Forest County, was a Forest County resident. Taylor is actually a resident of Munhall, Pa.

In a story about Logan Road in Conewango Township, it was reported that the road would reopen in a matter of days. According to township officials, the road will remain closed until it is oiled — which is scheduled for the end of August.

In a July 12 Times Observer article entitled “Seeking Gold Star families,” an incorrect phone number was published to reach Dennis Faucher, of Bradford, who is again hosting the Willow Creek triathlon (www.willowcreektriathlon.org) this year. The triathlon, to be held on Saturday, Aug. 4, honors Gold Star families in Warren and McKean counties and raises money for the DAV. He says he has been wanting to do more for the gold star families who often get left behind after their loved one dies in service. Correction
In a story about Easter break in Thursday’s edition of the Times Observer it was reported that Warren County Christian School will not have school on Tuesday. Due to days canceled for weather, there will be school on Tuesday, according to school officials.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office issued a release indicating that a senior check-in meeting and registration event being held at the Russell Fire Department on March 28 at 6 p.m. Deputies have indicated that the date was incorrect and that the event will be held on March 27 instead. Also, deputies will be at the health fair in Tidioute on March 24 from 7 a.m. until noon to provide an additional registration options for members of the community.
