On the next-to-last reporting day of the month, Warren County surpassed 500 new cases of COVID-19 for September.

There were 31 new county cases reported by the Pennsylvania Department of Health on Thursday, bringing the total to 3,345.

There have been 510 so far in September. The department’s Oct. 1 report will reflect the cases on Sept. 30.

Also on Thursday, the department reported another COVID-related death in the county, bringing that number to 116.
