The Warren Public Library is closed for the next few days.

According to Director Kelli Knapp, a member of the staff tested positive.

“We have a COVID-positive staff member who is doing fine,” Knapp said. “No one else at the library is sick. No one else at the library had prolonged contact with the positive staff. The source of the infection was from outside the library.”

“We have followed all CDC protocols since March and everyone is fine,” she continued.

The library will re-open to its modified COVID schedule on Monday.

Patrons may schedule appointments for browsing, computer use, and the reference department starting Monday by calling 723-4650.

Those who need to return materials may do so at the book drop at the Market Street entrance.
