A man wanted by Pennsylvania State Police that sparked a daylong search was taken into custody Thursday morning in Warren County.

The suspect, Cody Potthoff, was apprehended at an undisclosed location.

In a message posted to Twitter, local troopers thanked the community for its support.

“Thank you to everyone for your support, tips and patience,” the troopers said. “We are still retracing his whereabouts yesterday. If you still have information, call PSP Erie at 814-898-1641.”

Troopers descended onto a Columbus Township residence Thursday afternoon, blocking traffic in the area. Police believed Potthoff was at the property. However, in a message, troopers said Potthoff — wanted on multiple felony warrants — was not inside.

Potthoff was believed to be driving a stolen light blue Jeep Liberty.
