County reports fifth COVID case; second in two days

The number of COVID-19 cases in Warren County grew for the second consecutive day Thursday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health announced Thursday that the county has had five positive cases.

So far, one of the five would meet the state’s requirement to be “recovered.”

“If a case has not been reported as a death, and it is more than 30 days past the date of their first positive test (or onset of symptoms) then an individual is considered recovered,” according to the DOH.

The number has changed twice since the county entered the green phase on Friday, May 29.

The person was not tested at Warren General Hospital and is not a patient there. Hospital staff believe the individual was treated at an Erie hospital.

Starting at $3.50/week.
