Two marijuana possession cases resolved in preliminary hearings

Three guilty pleas were entered and charges were withdrawn against one during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

John L. Griffin, Jr., 39, Warren, to statement under penalty. A count of materially false written statement was withdrawn.

Tristin J. Johnson, 29, Kennedy, N.Y., to possess of marijuana. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and a traffic offense were withdrawn.

Christopher J. Pickering, 40, Lakewood, N.Y., to possession of marijuana. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following:

Devin M. Bronk, 18, Warren. Bronk had been charged with simple assault and harassment.
