Cases resolved at preliminary hearings
Three guilty pleas were entered, charges were withdrawn against five and one was held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.
The following guilty pleas were entered:
Jonna M. Arnold, 37, Sheffield, to possession of a controlled substance. Charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn.
John H. Brooks, 48, Kane, Pa., to disorderly conduct. Charges of forgery and theft were withdrawn.
Codie A. Miller, 37, Youngsville, to theft. A count of theft was withdrawn.
Charges were withdrawn against the following:
Gardina R. Akins, 23, Warren. Akins had been charged with harassment and disorderly conduct. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
Seneca R. Glotz, 28, Meadville. Glotz had been charged with retail theft. A count of retail theft was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
Melissa F. Lycett, 23, Warren. Lycett had been charged with disorderly conduct. A count of public drunkenness was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
Matthew C. Meabon, 37, Falconer, NY. Meabon had been charged with strangulation, unlawful restraint, simple assault and harassment. A count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
Aimee L. Ruland, 41, Warren. Ruland had been charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, two counts of simple assault and harassment. A count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
Michael R. Miller, 46, Warren, was held for court. Miller has been charged with strangulation, harassment, terroristic threats and simple assault.
