Pleas entered at preliminary hearings

One guilty plea was entered, charges were withdrawn against three and one was held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

Joshua A. Bang, 31, Jamestown, NY, pleaded guilty to false identification to law enforcement, possession of a controlled substance, driving while license suspended or revoked, operating a vehicle without a valid inspection and possession of marijuana. A total of 11 additional charges were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following defendants:

Kyle Sheldon, 28, Warren. Sheldon had been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Douglas R. Duke, 44, Warren. Duke had been charged with theft of leased property.

Ryan M. English, 31, Warren. English had been charged with strangulation and simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

Robert V. Duckett, 54, Clarendon, was held for court on charges including four counts of indecent assault, two counts of corruption of minors, two counts of unlawful contact with a minor and six counts of aggravated indecent assault.
