Preliminary hearings held Wednesday

Two guilty pleas were entered and charges were withdrawn against six defendants during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following individuals entered guilty pleas:

Joey L. Bunce, 29, Corry, Pa., to possession of a controlled substance. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

Kevin M. Hale, 53, Warren, to possession of a controlled substance. Two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following individuals:

Travis M. Barnett, 35, Warren. Barnett had been charged with fraud to alter title, registration or insurance. A count of operating a vehicle without a valid inspection was re-categorized as a traffic offense.

Austin M. Brown, 25, Warren. Brown had been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

Christopher J. Frederick, 36, Warren. Frederick had been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges of driving without a license and period for requiring lighted lamps were re-categorized as traffic offenses.

Wayne M. Glasgow, 33, Spring Creek. Glasgow had been charged with harassment. A count of simple assault was withdrawn.

Monica R. Pacheco, 39, Jamestown, N.Y. Pacheco had been charged with retail theft. An additional count of retail theft was withdrawn.

Victoria H. Wesolowski, 29, Pittsfield. Wesolowski had been charged with hindering apprehension/prosecution, aggravated assault and simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
